Speechless sits the Moon

Describes a nice walk down the beach at night in Hawai'i. "A salty fragrance floats on floral currents".: 103 words

As the Sun slips away, night falls and the winds instinctively retreat to their slumber.
The stars emerge twinkling and joyous, while the waves gently caress the sandy shore.
A salty fragrance floats on floral currents.
Speechless sits the Moon, silent and majestic.
She slowly rises and begins to graze upon the slender mountain slopes.
Determined, she stubbornly pulls the tides behind her.
Beyond the horizon the clouds drift, like illuminated beasts searching aimlessly for prey.
The stillness is broken by the cry of a baby seabird, awakened by the crisp night air.
The anticipation of dawn, a new days first light.
