Year of the Ram/Sheep/Goat Writing Contest (100 words exactly)

FROM THE WILD PLACE

Mother Earth and Father Sky
thrown from the chaos of Po;
the wild place, dark and deep.
Being two halves of the same whole.

One above and one below
eternally touching on an infinite horizon.
Opposing and embracing, opposing and embracing,
taming the riot.

Rocks, trees, fish, man
woman created-
gradually bearing the light in
gradients of grey and hope.

There is nothing to fear in the unknown.
For we are born of shadow and entropy,
and all that is evergreen
begins in darkness.

I am from the wild place.
I have definition but
am not defined,
am not afraid.
