How then the gloaming times grow dark and drear

100 words for February

How then the gloaming times grown dark and drear
When all birds sung their song a time ago
What majesty reduced to something tears
Where others feared their passages unknown

Who loves in times foreshadowed bleak as these
Unchanged forever in their showing screened
Why mysteries unfold more mysteries
Still your eternal summer shines as seen

An actor still imperfect than as writ
The perfect ceremonial fractured rite
To hear with eyes belongs to love's fine wit
To laugh her imperfections as plain sight

Now balance these with righting whimsy steeled
Nor take for granted anything we feel
