BR 100 Word Contest- October

“So, is this hotel really haunted?”, I ask.

“Supposedly there’s a lobby chair that rocks by itself but I’ve never seen it… others say they've seen the ghost of a pig dog…”

“A pink dog?!”

He laughs. “No, PIG. Like pua’a.”

“Okay because otherwise it’s like… ‘ack! Pink dog!’… not very scary.”

“Yeah.”

He has grey eyes and a nice smile. I’m totally bombing.

“Anything else?”

“Not that I know of…nothing ever happens when I’m around.”

“Maybe it’s because your mana is just SO strong”, I joke.

“Nah, it’s cuz I get ti leaves tied to my bibidees.”

Strange conversations.
