He's Crystal Clear

Published by KERENDF | Saturday, November 27, 2010 7:48 PM

Everything’s pretty fuzzy but the one thing that’s crystal clear is my father.

When I think about my childhood, I don’t remember a lot. Everything’s pretty fuzzy but the one thing that’s crystal clear is my father. When I was in pre-school, my father would wake up early, get ready and put me in a stroller with a loaf of bread. Every morning we’d walk up Punahou Street but always stopped at a church. We’d sit down on the grass to feed the birds some bread, just the two of us. I cherish these moments I’ve had with my dad. Now every time I pass the church, I can’t help but smile.
