THIS IS A 100 WORDS CONTEST ENTRY

Empty

My mind is empty. I’ve been consumed by my day-to-day schedule that I’ve forgotten what really mattered. It’s not how high I could score on my SAT or the best college I could get into, although these are things I have to think about eventually. No, it’s breathing. Breathing is something that comes natural to us but lately, I’ve stopped and haven’t even noticed. My body was a vacant shell. I’d stop living, suffocating by my own will, and just existed. Now, I will fill my lungs happily and just live.
