BR 100 word contest


“Uh, what’d your mommy tell you?”

“Mommy showed me Santa on NORAD, but the video’s always for Hilo… and cartoony.” Yukari sneezed. “Is he really real?”

“Uh….” It was then Kokoro remembered an article by Mike Brown. “Yes. Let me check Santa’s flight plan.”

* * *

“You cold? Your mom would kill me if you got any sicker.”

Yukari shook her head.

“Okay, Santa’s flying by at 10:46.” Kokoro stuck out her arm. “Right over my thumb is where we’ll be able to see… Rudolph’s nose…. Look!”

From the north, a pinpoint rose and then disappeared behind the mountains toward the northeast.
