BR 100 word contest


Now days, everything moves so fast. People in a rush.
Even money moves fast. Time moves fast too.
Too much change, too fast. Too much everything.
I remember… this used to be an okazuya, good noodles.
I remember, before these buildings you could see the sunset from here. Where did it go? I don’t recognize this place anymore.

“I don’t know where I am”, he said to a woman passing hurriedly, pretending she didn’t see him, his cane forgotten by the bus-stop bench.

I don’t remember everything being… plastic.

“I don’t remember…,” he said, fingering his ID bracelet.
