Okay, we had a record number of entries for the December contest, and we're looking to break that record this month. If you guessed it, then you guessed right. We're going up again this month. So, you can write:

a haiku

or

a piece that is exactly 100 words

or

you can accept the big monthly challenge of writing a piece that is exactly 1444 words.

Remember that we are open to poems, fiction, plays, essays, or any hybrid genre you dream up.

Here are this month's themes:

Martin Luther King Jr. Day
New Year's Day
Resolutions
Broken Promises
Hangovers
Cleaning Up
Looking Back
Looking Forward
Looking in Front
Looking in Back
Looking Up
Looking Down
Just Plain Old Looking Around
Look but Don't Touch
