The Friends of Waialua Library present their annual Authors' Night on Thursday, March 3rd, 2011.
The event will be held at the Library (opposite Waialua Bandstand Park) starting at 6:30 p.m. with pupus and other refreshments served under the canopy in front of the Library. Then, inside, several local authors, including Juliet S. Kono, will talk about their books, what inspired them, the writing process, etc.
The Friends of Waialua Library is the largest Friends group in the entire state and they are very proud of their library, which was selected Best Small Rural Library in the United States in 1997 by the American Library Association.
This event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
