The shows tape before a live audience on the first Sunday of every month and are broadcast every Tuesday at 6:30 pm on Hawai'i Public Radio's KIPO 89.3 FM. Aloha Shorts Taping the first Sunday of every month 6:45 pm in the Atherton Studio

Aloha Shorts, the radio collaboration between Hawaii Public Radio and Bamboo Ridge Press, opens its new season with a free live taping on Sunday, August 1. Back from its summer hiatus and back to work, the program takes “Labor” as its theme for the evening. The taping begins with a musical set by hardworking Aloha Shorts house band Hamajang at 6:45 pm. The performance space, HPR’s Atherton Studio at 738 Kaheka Street seats only 70, so audiences are strongly encouraged to make reservations in advance by calling the station at 955-8821 during business hours. Waiting list is seated at 6:50 pm.
